In simplest terms, Tai Chi is exercise for the body. Yet practitioners who spend any time with the art at all will tell you it quickly becomes food for the human spirit and the mind as well. The practice of Tai Chi requires little physical exertion. It actually maintains health, calms the mind and increases longevity through concentration, relaxation, focus and the simplest of movements. As a means of keeping fit and preventing and curing diseases, this internal martial art form has been practiced among Asian cultures since the 13th century.


SLB invites you to investigate this ancient internal art knowing that no Midwestern school carries such a complete Tai Chi curriculum. Our internal program offers instruction in:
